We are EdTech Info Space in North America.
We are passionate about creating a vibrant space for students in North America who are eager to deepen their involvement in the EdTech field, fostering opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
Who are we?
This community was founded by Starry Wang from NYU’s Learning Technology and Experience Design program, and Stella Wang from UPenn’s Learning Sciences and Technologies program. Our community includes students from schools like NYU, UPenn, Harvard, Columbia, Stanford, CMU, and UT Austin, as well as experienced professionals from industry. If you have any suggestions or collaboration ideas related to the group, feel free to reach out to us!
Our TeamHow did we start?
One evening, soon after Stella and Starry began their master’s programs in the U.S., Stella wondered why there wasn’t a job-hunting group for EdTech students. Starry proposed that they start one themselves, realizing that other EdTech students likely needed a space to share useful information as well. And that’s how the idea for EdTech Info Space was born.
What do we do?
We’ve hosted five online sharing events/workshops and one in-person gathering so far, covering topics like PhD applications in education, UXD job search strategies, transitioning from humanities to tech, and interview tips.
